Competitive positioning

How you define and communicate your distinct place in the market relative to alternatives buyers consider.

Competitive positioning is the deliberate choice of how your product occupies a distinct, defensible place in the buyer's mind relative to the alternatives they are weighing. It answers the question every prospect asks: why should I choose you over the other options, including doing nothing?

Strong positioning starts with the competitive frame. You decide which category buyers will compare you against, because that frame shapes their expectations and the features they value. From there you identify the attributes where you genuinely lead and tie them to outcomes the buyer cares about.
