Glossary → Win rate
The percentage of competitive deals you close, often tracked per competitor to see who you beat and who beats you.
Win rate is the share of deals you win out of the deals you compete in. Measured overall it tells you how healthy your sales motion is; measured per competitor it tells you something far more useful, which rivals you reliably beat and which ones you lose to.
Tracking win rate by competitor turns vague impressions into a scoreboard. If your win rate against one rival quietly drops after they change their pricing or ship a feature, that is a signal worth acting on before the quarter ends.
The hard part is connecting the number to a cause. RivalDesk watches what each competitor does week to week, so when a win rate moves you have the context to explain it and a recommended counter-move to respond.
RivalDesk puts a team of AI analysts on your competitors so the concepts in this glossary become a weekly briefing, not a research project.
